Horizon Lines, LLC was recognized by Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. as the 2005 recipient of the company’s annual “Carrier of the Year Award” for the Jones Act trades.
Horizon Lines provides Wal-Mart ocean transportation and logistics services between the continental U.S. and Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. “Horizon Lines provided outstanding service for Wal-Mart in 2005,” said Tracy Rosser, Vice President of Wal-Mart Corporate Traffic.
