Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation (MFTBC)  announced the expansion of its logistics center in Higashi Ohgishima, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The facility, which is an export shipping base for knockdown (KD) kits and other parts logistics activities, has been enlarged by 10,800 square meters to accommodate MFTBC's growing international business. The newly expanded facility, now encompassing 25,900 square meters, officially opened.

 ProLogis (NYSE: PLD), a leading global provider of distribution facilities and services, announced  that it will develop a new, 661,000-square-foot (61,400-square-meter) industrial facility adjacent to Tokyo's Narita International Airport. The seven-story, multi-tenant facility, to be called ProLogis Parc Narita III, will be ProLogis' third distribution center in the strategically important Narita submarket. It will be built on a recently acquired, 12-acre parcel less than 1 kilometer from the airport's cargo entrance.

Husky Terminal in the Port of Tacoma belongs to ITS (International Transportation Service, Inc.) which in turn is owned 100% by Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” Line), headquartered in Tokyo, and has been providing high quality services that are being further upgraded through doubling the size of its terminal capacity and installation of new larger-sized container-handling equipment on the occasion of its transfer to Terminals 3 & 4 effective in June 2005 from “ Terminal 7D ” where Husky Terminal has had operations for more than 20 years since being establishment in 1983.
