AirTran Airways (NYSE: AAI), a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc., announced today that it is officially operating from the Humphrey Terminal at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. After occupying gates from the Lindbergh Terminal since 2001, AirTran Airways has completed the relocation to Gates H9 and H10 in the Humphrey Terminal.

AirTran Airways Statement on Computer Upgrade

AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc., (NYSE: AAI), yesterday began a planned upgrade of its internal reservations and airport check-in systems which will bring long term benefits to our customers. It required a preplanned shutdown of the system from 10 pm Monday, June 19, 2006, through 4:30 am this morning. The airline began experiencing passenger check-in problems early this morning that caused rollover delays into the early afternoon. This has resulted in long lines at a number of airports, primarily Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

 Airline Joined by Governor Sonny Perdue for Announcement 
  AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), the parent company of AirTran Airways, today announced it will add an additional 2,500 jobs in Georgia over the next five years. AirTran Airways announced its anticipated contribution to the Georgia workforce during an event with Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue in the airline's hangar at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Boeing Delivers Final 717s

Concludes Commercial Production in California
 Boeing delivered its final two 717 airplanes to Midwest Airlines and AirTran Airways in a ceremony before thousands of employees, retirees and dignitaries in Long Beach, Calif. The deliveries conclude commercial airplane production in Southern California that began in the 1920s with the Douglas Aircraft Co.
