DHL Global Forwarding, the air and ocean freight arm of DHL, today reaffirmed its long-term commitment in Indonesia with the opening of a US $3 million state-of-the-art facility at Soewarna Business Park in Cengkareng, Jakarta.

Langkawi International Airport received the Aerodrome Certification from the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), certifying that the airport has been audited and meets the Aerodrome Certification requirement by International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO). This is a new mandatory requirement of ICAO, which requires all international airports open for public use to provide uniform safety conditions for all aircraft.

During the five-year relationship with WILD Flavors, DHL has transported flavor and ingredient samples and product concepts to customers and prospects for WILD Flavors' domestic customers and handled the import and export of large volumes of raw materials to manufacturing plants and finished product to distribution centers.
