BNSF Logistics, LLC., announced that Amazon.com, a Fortune 500 company offering the Earth’s Biggest Selection, has selected BNSF Logistics for a comprehensive logistics management program.

Doug J. With Department of Justice (DOJ) approval, ATA has released its long-awaited model agreements for structuring motor carrier and broker contractual relationships. On Aug. 10, 2006, the DOJ issued what is referred to as a business review letter that stated it had no present intention of challenging the ATA proposal to develop and publicize model carrier/broker agreements. That language signals the government’s position that the creation, distribution and use of the model agreements does not raise antitrust concerns.

AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc., (NYSE: AAI), yesterday began a planned upgrade of its internal reservations and airport check-in systems which will bring long term benefits to our customers. It required a preplanned shutdown of the system from 10 pm Monday, June 19, 2006, through 4:30 am this morning. The airline began experiencing passenger check-in problems early this morning that caused rollover delays into the early afternoon. This has resulted in long lines at a number of airports, primarily Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
