New technology being tested for suitability in global freight transport
Test phase starts with partners in Hong Kong and Hamburg

Port of Hamburg Schenker put into service ten containers equipped with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology. The official commissioning of the new equipment took place in the presence of customers and industrial partners from the Port. This is the first step in a practical test to examine the suitability of new security technology for global freight transport. The new containers will be used in a shuttle service between Hamburg and Hong Kong.

A new container for keeping products cool under transportation has been developed. It works basically as a mobile refrigerator and is run by electricity, which ensures a constant temperature over a long period of time.

80 percent of all online-banking users doubt that they could recognize a fraudulent e-mail. This is the alarming result of a current study by the market research firm TNS Infratest. Postbank makes detecting fraudulent e-mails easy for its customers: since November, the Bonn-based bank signs its e-mails.
