Both Companies Expand in Southern California Ozburn-Hessey Logistics (OH Logistics) and Cypress Medical Products, LP joined forces to meet the growing distribution needs of the medical supply manufacturer. Based in Illinois, Cypress Medical serves numerous medical markets using an extensive North American distributor network.
"Ozburn-Hessey Logistics is extremely customer oriented and they have a great reputation for quality and service," commented Jim Ruderer, Executive Vice President, Cypress Medical Products. "Several of their other medical clients encouraged me to get to know OH Logistics, and we are looking forward to expanding our relationship with them." "Our multi-client campuses and flexible space arrangements provide real value to our clients," said Scott McWilliams, CEO of OH Logistics. "When our clients need more space, we either provide it to them at our existing facilities or we acquire additional space for them; it is our commitment to provide flexible solutions wherever and whenever they are needed." Cypress Medical will initially be operating in 25,000 square feet of flex space near Ontario, California. OH Logistics will be handling 400 Cypress Medical skus beginning September 1, 2006. OH Logistics also recently added new facilities in Romeoville, IL; Plainfield, IN; St. Louis, MO; and Chambersburg, PA. OH Logistics had announced a 178,000 square foot expansion in Dallas, TX, earlier in 2006. Recent expansions represent approximately 1.4 million additional square feet to the company's existing 20 million square foot distribution center network.
