Haier IT Europe, a division of one of the largest Chinese consumer electronics and IT companies, has chosen Kuehne + Nagel in the Netherlands as its strategic partner for the provision of end-to-end integrated supply chain services.

In the scope of the contract, Kuehne + Nagel will manage consolidation of freight in China and inbound transportation by sea and air to its facility in Moerdijk/NL - Haier IT’s European distribution hub. Here, services provided include warehousing, customs clearance and cross-docking for final distribution to European customers.
Haier IT Europe is in the process of developing a European sales market for its products, which include notebooks, portable media, display and data storage devices as well as media centre solutions. By leveraging its comprehensive logistics expertise and infrastructure, Kuehne + Nagel will help the company accommodate the growing goods flows and supply chain requirements across the new geographical markets targeted, optimising end-to-end supply chain cost and ensuring first-class delivery performance and service levels.
