KempGoldberg and Schneider National Win Nine Compass Awards for Creative Marketing and Communication Print
Agency is recognized by TMCA with the highest number of awards in the transportation and logistics industry. 
KempGoldberg, a strategic marketing and communications firm, and its client Schneider National Inc., a premier provider of transportation, logistics and intermodal services, today announced that together they have received nine Compass Awards for marketing excellence in the transportation and logistics industry.

 

KempGoldberg and Schneider received the highest number of awards among all entrants and were recognized across five categories including advertising, public relations, collateral material, publications and direct marketing.
The Compass Awards are presented annually to industry participants by the Transportation Marketing & Communications Association (TMCA). KempGoldberg and Schneider received the awards at the 2006 TMCA annual meeting held in Keystone, Colo.

“The creative marketing and public relations campaigns Schneider and KempGoldberg executed last year were extremely successful in helping Schneider promote both its transportation and logistics services as well as its driver career opportunities,” stated Dan Ventura, vice president of creative services at KempGoldberg. “Being recognized by our industry peers for these efforts provides added satisfaction.”

The nine Compass Awards earned by KempGoldberg and Schneider are as follows:

· Category: Single advertisement; entry: “Dedicated Wrench;” description: print advertisement that promotes Schneider’s industry leading dedicated transportation services.
· Category: Direct marketing campaign; entry: “Fishing Bear;” description: campaign in support of Schneider’s driver recruitment efforts.
· Category: Communications collateral; entry: “International Logistics Services Brochure;” description: collateral material highlighting Schneider’s global logistics expertise and offerings.
· Category: Communications collateral; entry: “Mexico Brochure;” description: bi-lingual collateral material promoting Schneider de Mexico’s cross-border transportation and logistics leadership.
· Category: Communications collateral; entry: “Great American Truck Show Third Party Carrier Brochure;” description: trade show material developed to promote Schneider’s transportation management line of business.
· Category: Publications; entry: “Emergency Transit Times;” description: a special edition of Schneider’s Transit Times customer newsletter communicating the company’s emergency response in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
· Category: Media relations; entry: “Bylined Articles;” description: development and placement of bylined articles in target media reinforcing Schneider’s position as an industry thought leader.
· Category: Media relations; entry: “Driver Simulation Campaign;” description: execution of a media relations campaign for Schneider and its vendor, MPRI, to promote the use of simulation technology in Schneider’s industry-leading driver training program.
